Waverly Earp backstory

Baby girl is the baby that we all love and that excites us with her achievements. Waverly Earp, the younger sister of Wynonna Earp's badass (or perhaps not, to believe in the tests performed that confirmed the inexistence of blood ties between the two). Still, Waverly is the sister we all wish for: beautiful, coquettish, corky, curious by nature, friendly and hard-working. It is the seductive irresistible and kind: How to resist these charms and still dazzle us with an incomparable voice or a private dance with pompoms. Small, thin and fragile, she surprises us with the psychic power with which she pursues demons and beliefs.

Sisters Earp, Wynonna and Waverly grew orphaned in the tragedy after Wynona accidentally killed her father, her mother disappeared, as did her older sister, Willa, taken by the "seven". Waverly also had to survive the compulsive internment of Sister Wynonna, but she never failed to believe that somewhere, somehow she would break the curse. She fought, from a very early age, to be recognized as one of the heirs, if not the heir it self. She specializes in Earp's curse and is perhaps the most knowledgeable person to understand the mysteries of the Ghost River Triangle and the cult of Bulshar. Maybe that's why Wynonna has learned to respect her.

The strong ties and the complicity between the two allow them to overcome each of the creeps provoked by the Revenants and demons of Purgatory. There are doubts about the origins of Waverly, since we already know that she is not Wynonna's sister.

I have a theory! The theory fits the end of season 2 in which we see the exchange of suspicious looks between Nicole Haught and Xavier Dolls on the cult of Bulshar. Bulshar Clootie was apparently a sheriff who after Wyatt Earp had killed two nephews cast a curse on all the descendants of the Earp.

Bulshar legacy was not the two widows, or even Constance witch. He has left a mark for posperity: A descendant.

Clootie became a hard and bitter man especially since he never got a man child from the various women who shared his bed. As a man of law he wandered through different counties, displaying his physical and shooting qualities looking for the woman who could give him the son, his heir, his eternity. That's why he clung to his nephews, and that's why he laid the curse on all of Wyatt's offspring when Wyatt killed his nephews, forcing him to survive, knowing he could never get through eternity.

He had seven daughters, each from a different woman, but he rejected them all because they did not serve his purposes.

One of these women died in childbirth while delivering the seventh descendant who was taken into Wyatt's home and raised by him. At the age of twenty seven this girl had a son.

Clootie tried to rescue the boy to serve his purposes, but what he did not know was that the boy's father was only his arch enemy foe Doc Holliday. Aware of the danger of imminent abduction, Wyatt and Doc delivered the boy to a witch who lived in a corner of a dense Canadian forest. Many years later, Wynonna's mother brings a baby home to raise it as if it were from the family: her name Waverly Holliday, the great granddaughter of Doc Holliday.
